Sunday Science What kind of topics might you find in Sunday Science? Every so often, we find an article for a scientific discovery or an interesting concept that is made possibly by way of high performance computing, or teaches us something about practices around it. These posts are shared on Sundays under the tag “SundayScience.” Sunday Science can include anything from: Asking good Research Computing questions This section is about helping all of us help each other to ask high quality questions generally, but also specifically in the context of Research Computing itself— without experience in this space, it may not be obvious how to ask a “good, high quality question”, especially for people new to research computing. Our Q&A site is not intended to replace training materials that teach people about research computing, rather we want to quickly enable people to ask specific questions with enough relevant context to help them quickly reach the answers they seek. Friday Factoid Every week, we post a fun “Friday Factoid” on Twitter that might be anything from a little known fact, to a historical event, to a discovery in science. While most of these factoids are related to HPC, sometimes we find ideas, pictures, or facts that are so interesting that we make an exception. This category is an archive of those tweets. If you’d like to submit a factoid for consideration, please use this form Moderators Forum A ‘Meta Discussion Zone’ for moderator topics.
