Detailed information on URI’s three HPC clusters: Andromeda, BlueWaves and SeaWulf may be found on this website: https://web.uri.edu/hpc-research-computing/
Briefly …
Andromeda: 34 nodes with 1188 threads of computation. The nodes are interconnected via an Omnipath network. They share access to 874TB of spinning disk drives.
BlueWaves: 64 compute nodes with 1336 cores, at least 128GB of RAM and 2TB of local storage. They are interconnected via a 40Gb/s (4xQDR) Infiniband network. They share access to 890TB of spinning disk drives and 32TB of solid state drives.
SeaWulf: this cluster is intended for use for instruction and currently being replaced.
