I realize many may not have combined experiences with both Slurm and PBS Pro. However if there’s someone who has worked extensively with both of these batch schedulers I’m curious to know some of the pros and cons, based on your experience, when these schedulers are pitted against each other.
From the onset, we worked with Torque/Maui and a few years ago pivoted to PBS Pro. And whilst we’ve enjoyed working with PBS Pro we’d like to gather from the group if they’re a major deficiencies or advantages of either platform over the other.
