Please see below regarding the Slurm configuration change on Oscar.
What’s the change?
- The new limits will be as follows:

| Exploratory | 100 |
| Priority | 1200 |
| Condo | 1200 |
What’s the impact?
- Effective on Feb. 11, 2021, users cannot submit jobs more than the new limits.
- No downtime
- Your running/pending jobs will not be affected
What’s the cause?
- The change is necessary in efforts to avoid users overwhelming the batch system.
