We at OHSU’s Advanced Computing Center have an opening for a Research Systems Engineer, which is a Systems-facing and Researcher-facing role.
System administration experience with Linux and/or Windows servers is needed, and even if you have no prior Research support or HPC experience, you’d have the opportunity to learn about our unique environment while working with longtime members of our team.
You’d also be helping us support some amazing researchers (and their work) here at OHSU.

Note: Our team members are tele-working most of the time, but can expect to occasionally visit the local datacenter (Portland, OR area) to deal with hardware. That said, it is possible that a strong candidate for this position who prefers to not relocate could negotiate a full-remote work arrangement.
