Description: We will be rolling out Singularity version 3.4.2 on Oscar beginning Monday, December 16, 2019.
Details: The current Singularity (version 2.2) will still be supported on Oscar but users will now need to load the module to use the older version. This can be done with the command:
module load singularity/2.2
Users who want to test the new version ahead of time can do so using node426 as follows:
Via interactive session:
interact -q debug -h node426
Via batch script:
#SBATCH --nodelist=node426
User Impact - Minimal. Currently running/scheduled jobs or any other Oscar-related services will not be affected.
