How do I develop applications with Open On Demand?

I found Ohio Supercomputer Center’s Open OnDemand, and I’m interested in developing interactive apps for it. What are some of my options?

If your institution has OnDemand running on a cluster, then your admin can enable a sandbox for you to develop in. You can point him or her to the documentation here. If you want to develop locally, then you have a few options! There are some Vagrant images that you can build:

or a recent ood-compose (that uses Docker Compose) that I created to bring up a cluster (SLURM) easily.
