How do I avoid using Duo for each connection to the clusters?

For a cluster head node which is DUO enabled, it asks me to DUO authenticate with every ssh/scp/sftp command I use. How can I make it stop?

DUO enhances security. It can also be annoying and disruptive. This article has two approaches to suppressing Duo. We recommend using the first approach below due to its simplicity. Note that by “suppressing” we mean minimizing as opposed to eliminating. You will still need to Duo authenticate but much less so.
