To apply for a new HPC account or an allocation, send an email to accounts@ccs.uky.edu requesting an account.
For a first time PI, to setup an allocation, we will follow-up with the PI for additional details such as their research Project details, group research activities, computational methodologies to be used on the cluster, their software needs, initial resource request if known(core hrs., storage, GPU, CPU needs), type of resources(HPC/Cloud/VMs) etc.
Once your allocation is setup and project created, the PI and all members in their project will receive email that will have instructions on how to access the cluster and available resources such as compute, storage etc.
