On Friday, June 3rd, Europa will be taken off the UTD network and will transition to the TRECIS network. We expect the system to be down until Friday June 17th. During this time, the login and compute nodes will be unavailable.
During the downtime, the system will be upgraded and a new web portal will be put in place.
If you need your data, please copy it off of the system ASAP. If you need computational resources during the downtime, please contact circ-assist@utdallas.edu
Information on the status of Europa and how to access it once the redeployment is done will be posted in this thread.
I’ve been informed by the Cyberinfrastructure Networking and Operations teams that things are taking longer than expected. Europa is now expected to go into testing end of next week with full production by Friday, July 1st.
If you need resources, data, or any assistance, please reach out to the UTD CI team at circ-assist@utdallas.edu
We’re continuing to work on Europa and hope to have it functional again soon. In the meantime, we’re now collecting information for re-onboarding onto Europa.
We need a few pieces of information from you:
Name and Email address.
UT Dallas NetID if UT Dallas affiliated or a current Europa user and preferred username.
Public SSH Key (Europa is now currently passwordless as it no longer uses UT Dallas authentication).
