The Coalition for Academic Scientific Computation (CASC) is launching an Annual Academic Cloud and Data Center Usage Survey . The summarized results of the survey will be available to be shared freely with the research computing community, including institutional and federal stakeholders.
All institutions are encouraged to complete this survey even if they are not CASC members. This will ensure that the results broadly represent the needs and landscape of institutions providing research computing and data services to support academic research. We are especially interested in institutions serving historically underrepresented communities.
CASC is a 501©(3) non-profit organization with 90+ members representing scientific computing centers of higher-education institutions and national labs. CASC is conducting this survey as part of its mission to advocate for the importance of and need for public and private investment in research computing and data services supporting academic research, and to serve as a trusted advisor to federal agencies on the direction of relevant funding programs.
