Announcing TRECIS Live Computing and Research Support (LCARS)

The Texas Research and Education Cyberinfrastructure Services (TRECIS) center in OIT’s Cyberinfrastructure & Research Support is pleased to announce the start of the Live Computing and Research Support (LCARS) community. This community will host weekly live office hours with Cyberinfrastructure & Research Support staff and provide a Teams-based discussion group for research computing. This discussion group is initially open to all UT Dallas students, faculty, and staff with interest in research computing and will provide both an informal avenue for you to discuss your research computing problems with support staff and to connect with others using computational resources on campus. If you’re not at UT Dallas, you can still sign up and we’ll add you to the mailing list to be notified when the discussion group is open outside of UT Dallas!

Office hours are scheduled for Wednesdays from 2 pm to 4 pm for the Spring semester (through May 31st) and are scheduled through our Teams group. Please see below for information on joining the Teams group and our mailing list.
